metaforge process
1. You placed an order: Now what? Well hold on tight we have a few hoops to jump through to get your new set of metaforge wheels on you ride. Remember these wheels are made to order!
2. Design and Engineering: This is where you come along with us and we get the wheel made to your specifics. In this design and engineering process. This involves creating detailed blueprints and computer-aided designs (CAD) of the wheel. Our engineers take into consideration factors such as load capacity, weight, and aesthetics.
3. Billet Prep: The third step is preparing the aluminum billet. This is where you step back unfortunately. This is when we take over and get busy.

Billets are solid pieces of aluminum. The billet is heated in a furnace to make it more malleable and possible to shape the barrels & lips desired size.
4. Forging: In this step, the heated billet is placed into our facilities forging press. The press applies extreme pressure to shape the billet into the rough wheel design. This process compresses the aluminum, creating a strong and dense structure.
5. Heat Treatment: After forging, the wheel undergoes a heat treatment process. This involves heating the wheel to a specific temperature and then slowly cooling it. Heat treatment helps enhance the strength and durability of our wheels.
6. Machining and Finishing: The final step in manufacturing forged wheels involves machining and finishing. The wheel is machined to remove any excess material and to create precise dimensions. It is then polished, or coated to your chosen colors. The wheel is also subjected to quality control checks to ensure it meets all specifications and standards.
7. Shipping: The final count down. We begin boxing your wheels up after they have been finally inspected & ceramic coated. Then out the door they go from Michigan !
